    Overview:

    Are you the type of person who enjoys digging deep and solving problems? Whos always on top of all the details? Our Enterprise Risk Management department is looking for a co-op to assist us with completing various risk management initiatives, projects, and objectives across the organization. Youll conduct risk assessments and draft risk reports to be reviewed by management. Strong communication skills are a must.

    If you have a year-plus of related work experience, as well as a basic understanding of risk conceptsand you thrive in a collaborative, team-driven environmentthen lets talk.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Arranging departmental meetings and documenting meeting notes
    • Collaborating with all business units across Commonwealth to create contingency plans and highlight risks across the organization
    • Updating business continuity software and SharePoint site
    • Assisting business units as necessary as part of incident management events
    • Working on small to medium sized risk projects, as directed
    • Assisting in developing policies and procedures that support the overall business continuity program development, including formalized plan reviews, incident management program deployment, and testing

    Core Strengths and Skills

    • Self-starter
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • 1+ years of related industry experience
    • Basic understanding of risk concepts
    • Proven success in working cross-functionally within an organization
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills
    • Open to earning professional certifications
    • Experience using investigative and problem-solving skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Undergraduate degree preferredpreferably in finance, business, or a related field
