    Your Role on the Team

    The Neonatal Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) plays a critical role in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This position requires a registered nurse with advanced knowledge and clinical expertise in neonatal intensive care nursing.

    The CNS assesses patient needs and collaborates with the healthcare team to design, implement, and measure safe, cost-effective, evidence-based care strategies.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
    • Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement evidence-based practices
    • Conduct research and present findings to improve patient outcomes
    • Mentor and educate nurses to enhance their skills and knowledge

    Requirements

    • Master's degree in Nursing or related field
    • Current California RN license
    • American Heart Association BLS and NRP certification
    • Minimum 5 years acute hospital experience in NICU
