Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Associate Supply Chain Management Analyst (Level 2) to support the Final Assembly East Line Fulfillment Team based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.
In this role, you will utilize your expertise in Supply Chain Management methodologies to ensure seamless coordination throughout the supply chain.
You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, and quality assurance, to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
Position Responsibilities:
Applies change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutionsApplies Supply chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the supply chainCoordinates with company customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, suppliers and customersIncorporates Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into a production planCoordinates part number attributesVerifies the released engineering BOM has been correctly implemented in the material planning systemReleases and maintains ordersDocuments and resolves order delinquenciesReports schedule adherence issuesApplies developed solutions to inventory plans.
Analyzes and dispositions excess and obsolete inventoriesCreates schedules for products and servicesCoordinates and supports process improvementsWorks under general supervisionThis position is expected to be 100% onsite.
The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):1+ years of experience using the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)1+ years of experience supporting Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment1+ years of experience with Material Requirements Planning, utilizing ERPLN, IBAS, SAP or other similar MRP systemsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):3+ years of experience with ERPLN, SAP or other similar MRP systems3+ years of experience in the Aerospace or Manufacturing industryTypical Education/Experience:
Typically 3 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
