    Description


    Maximize company sales growth and profitability by assisting the Distribution Center to manage daily operations, system performance, release management, quality of associate work, and inventory management.

    Focus on promoting sales as they pertain to or are driven by your position.


    Primary Responsibilities:
    Identify and execute system modifications/release requests in order to improve the efficiency and/or quality of the software.
    Oversee, develop, and train teams on standard operating procedures. Foster a culture of change by supporting and driving new concepts.

    In coordination with the JDA support team, IT Department and Supply Chain team, ensure compliance standards are understood and met.

    Oversee and support configuration and testing activities.
    Evaluate and report on existing system configuration and/or requested changes to determine the effectiveness of the software and operation.
    Identify, review and manage key metrics to monitor performance and inventory accuracy. Manage, audit, and report on discrepancy results.
    Support all efforts and initiatives across all business channels implemented by the company.

    Support the companys mission and goals, including applicable key performance indicators (KPIs).Possess a thorough understanding of training resources, standard operating procedures and guidelines to provide and educate franchise-managed Distribution Centers.

    Act as a liaison between the Store Operations, Transportation, Merchandising, Loss Prevention, and IT Departments regarding software questions, needs and timing.

    Support the Store Operations, Transportation, Merchandising, Loss Prevention, and IT Departments by answering questions and offering assistance when needed.
    Collaborate with leadership team to understand and resolve all issues.
    Troubleshoot software, resolve and/or report issues to ensure proper functionality.
    Manage and educate teams on inventory process, user permissions, reason codes, and 1st/2nd classifications.
    Provide ad-hoc analysis, as needed or requested.

    Promote a strong sense of teamwork and a culture of respect by working together safely, effectively, respectfully and efficiently with all associates.

    Manage all aspects of performance,development and coaching and corrective action of direct reports to encourage professional growth.
    Participate in ongoing training regarding technology upgrades and new systems applicable to the position.

    Maintain an awareness of loss prevention, security and safety following the guidelines provided by management or the Human Resources Department and/or as outlined in the Crate and Barrel/CB2 Associate Guide.

    Adhere to the OSHA guidelines and programs to contribute to a safe working environment for all associates.


    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


    Knowledgeable in the processes and procedures for all Distribution channels with a good understanding of the warehouse management system (WMS), as well as,other systems that interact with the WMS.

    .Knowledgeable of industry trends in warehousing best practices and methodology, as well as, material handling, equipment, vendors and innovation.
    Ability to embrace new technologies and strive to create and promote cost-effective solutions.

    Ability to follow the loss prevention and security guidelines as outlined in the Crate and Barrel Associate Guide to minimize inventory shrinkage and profit loss.

    Including all Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ) procedures and guidelines.
    Possess a complete understanding of applicable company systems, policies and procedures.


    Experience Required:
    Associates degree or equivalent a plus.3+ years of experience leading/coaching people5+ years of experience with Distribution Center equipment, including warehouse management systems (RedPrairie/JDA experience, preferred)Background in Lean and 6 Sigma methodologies; Green Belt or Black Belt, preferred#J-18808-Ljbffr
