    3x12 hour nights with a weekend rotation and holidays as scheduled.

    Job Description


    The Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide comprehensive respiratory care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), performing a variety of treatments and procedures according to established protocols.

    The therapist will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure quality care for patients.

    Responsibilities

    Administer respiratory therapy treatments in the NICU and PICU.

    Utilize various equipment including ventilators (Hamilton and Servo), aerosol delivery systems, and airway management tools.

    Conduct intrahospital transport of patients while providing continuous respiratory support.

    Assist with intubation procedures as part of the healthcare team.

    Perform all aspects of respiratory care, including the use of cough assist and other specialized therapies.

    Document all treatments and procedures in the EPIC charting system.

    Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

    Must possess RRT certification; CRT is acceptable but RRT is preferred.


    Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Level III or greater NICU or a Level IV or Level I PICU.


    Required certifications:
    BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.

    License to practice respiratory therapy in the applicable state.
