    Position Summary:

    As a Customer Service Representative at GBS RevCycle, you'll be the voice of our organization, dedicated to providing outstanding customer service to our patients and clients. Your role involves receiving phone calls and correspondence, answering billing inquiries, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You'll also be responsible for handling complaints and offering solutions in accordance with our departmental protocol. Your insights will contribute to process improvements and enhanced customer service.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Patient and Client Interaction: Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries about billing.
    • Payment Management: Arrange and maintain patient payment plans, process payments over the phone, and send follow-up correspondence.
    • Resolution and Communication: Address customer inquiries through phone and email, research and respond to concerns, and document complaints.
    • Collaboration: Collaborate with the Appeals and Accounts Receivable Representatives for follow-up.
    • Process Improvement: Share ideas to enhance our processes and provide excellent customer service.

    Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Prior Customer Service preferred
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
    • Flexibility in working hours and occasional overtime when required
    • Adaptability to change and excellent multi-tasking abilities
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality within a HIPAA secure environment

    Working Environment:

    • Normal office setting
    • Requirements for sitting, manual dexterity, calculator use, and computer operation
    • Occasional mobility for file access, bending, stooping, walking, and lifting
    • Mandatory overtime during month-end processes

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    • This position does not have supervisory responsibilities, nor do subordinate supervisors report to this role.
