- Coordinate patients interfacing with the CHAVAT, including reviewing charts for eligibility for the program, providing outreach to families, and coordinating intakes.
- Conduct assessments and provide brief motivational interviewing interventions for youth at risk for are having already perpetrating violence.
- Conduct MI-focused interventions focusing on ways to reduce both violence perpetration, gun carrying, and gun violence in the outpatient setting.
- Communicate treatment plans to the other behavioral health specialists involved in the CHAVAT as well as coordinate appointments with youth and their families.
- Coordinate wrap-around services, setting up appointments between youth identified in the emergency department or hospital setting for outpatient management.
- Participate in the care of approximately 100 clients annually.

- Bachelor's degree in social work or a directly related field.
- At least two (2) years of clinical experience working with adolescents and families.
