- Experience performing password recovery, file system management, and device sanitization procedures for all Cisco Routers and switches.
- Identifying/Classifying MDF & IDF source power and power distribution as well as advising on Electrical outlets and circuits in MDF & IDF locations.
- Installing, servicing, and decommissioning UPSs and PDUs (for backup power and power distribution). Deploy UPS from box to network rack.
- Perform inventory management tasks and verify equipment database accuracy for all network equipment and required processes for asset tags on equipment
- Physical ability to lift 65lbs
- Experience with cable installation and patch cable routing.
- Experience connecting equipment to the network, ensure procedures and standards are followed.
- CCNA/CCNP (resume must note relevant certification numbers/dates of certification - if not on displayed on resume, candidate will not be considered)
- CCIE (resume must note relevant certification numbers/dates of certification - if not on displayed on resume, candidate will not be considered)
- Must have a valid driver's license, current insurance, and reliable automobile for travel to offices throughout the state as required
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are required in this role as the candidates will be dealing with State personnel of all levels
