    Responsibilities:

    • Draft, review, and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence related to family law cases.
    • Organize and manage case files, ensuring all necessary documents and information are accurately maintained and readily accessible.
    • Communicate with clients regularly, providing updates on case status, answering inquiries, and addressing concerns.
    • Interface with courts, opposing counsel, and other involved parties to schedule hearings, trials, and meetings.
    • Schedule and coordinate meetings between attorneys, clients, and other parties involved in the legal process.
    • Meet monthly billing requirements, accurately tracking billable hours and ensuring timely submission of invoices.

    Qualifications:

    • 3 years of family law practice experience in Virginia required.
    • Proficient in drafting pleadings and motions, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
    • Court Procedures: Familiarity with local court filing procedures and knowledge of family law court processes.

    Skills:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client interaction and court correspondence.
    • Great attention to detail to ensure accuracy in legal documents and case management.
    • Effective problem-solving abilities to navigate complex legal issues.
    • Works well in a team environment, collaborating with attorneys and legal staff.
    • Demonstrates the ability to work independently when required.
