Senior Tax Associate - Doral, United States - Valdes CPA & Advisors, P.A.

Description

We are looking for a Senior Tax Associate to join our international tax practice. The person will be responsible for preparing and reviewing complicated returns with international informational returns. Must be well versed on international tax matters and relevant code sections.

Responsibilities
Prepare or Review Forms 5471, 8865, 8621, 8938, FBAR, 1040, 1040NR, 1041,1120,1120S and 1065
Review accounting records, foreign financial statements, foreign tax returns, and other workpapers
Direct client contact
Correspond directly with the IRS and US or foreign counsel
Perform tax research and report its findings directly to the Manager or Tax Partner

Qualifications
3+ years of experience in public accounting and at least 2 years in International Tax
Fundamental knowledge of Tax
Previous experience with Ultratax and Quickbooks would be a plus but is not required
Detail and deadline-oriented
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Team player
CPA or Enrolled Agent License would be ideal but is not a must
