Systems Applications Owner - Miami-Fort Lauderdale Area

Job summary
We are seeking a Gaming Systems Applications Owner to lead the operational ownership stability and continuous improvement of enterprise gaming systems supporting a global guest-facing operation.This role serves as the primary point of accountability for both shipboard and shoreside gaming applications ensuring systems meet business needs operate reliably in a 24/7 environment and align with enterprise technology security and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities Application Ownership & Operational Excellence Serve as the hands-on operational owner and technical subject matter expert for assigned gaming systems and applications Ensure system stability availability and alignment with enterprise technology standards Participate in release planning testing and deployment coordination to minimize operational disruption Lead incident post-mortems and root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders IT compliance external vendors Translate operational business needs into clear technical requirements Support application enhancements configuration changes solution validation Assist with vendor management issue escalation service reviews performance tracking Compliance Documentation & Governance Maintain comprehensive application documentation procedures knowledge artifacts Support regulatory adherence audit requirements internal controls Complete required third-party risk assessments data privacy documentation Ensure adherence corporate policies control procedures Operational & Guest Experience Support Provide functional guidance troubleshooting support shipboard teams Identify opportunities automation optimization process improvement Support 24/7 operational environments professionalism composure high-impact incidents Required Skills Competencies Strong understanding application lifecycle management production support processes Familiarity ITIL concepts incident problem change management Working knowledge enterprise technology environments systems integrations data flows Awareness security compliance regulated technology environments Strong analytical troubleshooting capabilities Ability translate business requirements technical solutions Excellent communication skills technical non-technical stakeholders Proven ability work independently collaborating cross-functional teams Comfortable engaging vendors partners Proficiency tools platforms ServiceNow Zendesk Wrike Microsoft Excel SQL Qualifications Bachelor degree Information Systems Computer Science Business related field equivalent experience Years experience application support ownership IT operations or related fields Experience defining strategy owning roadmaps driving execution Experience supporting enterprise applications production environments Experience collaborating cross-functional business technical stakeholders Exposure casino or regulated industries preferred
