    OverviewThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and have outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

    The Senior Accountant Financial Reporting will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and will work collaboratively with the firms Accounting Managers, Accounting Directors, Controller, and Chief Accounting Officer.

    ResponsibilitiesPrepare quarterly and annual financial reports in compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations including Forn 10-K, Form 10-Q and Form 8-K (including earnings releases and supplemental information packages)Prepare and review schedules that support the disclosures in the Companys SEC filings including those on Form 10-K and Form 10-QPrepare internal management reporting packagesResearch and analyze complex accounting issues, providing guidance to internal stakeholders on the application of accounting standards.

    Interact directly with other members of the Accounting Team, Asset Management Team, external auditors, and internal auditorsAssist with Sarbanes Oxley Compliance ProgramOther duties as assignedQualificationsBachelors degree in Accounting, Masters degree and / or CPA preferredMinimum of 4 years of experience in financial reporting, with a focus on SEC reporting for public companies.

    Strong knowledge of GAAP and SEC regulations.
    Experience with real estate accounting and familiarity with industry-specific reporting requirements is a plus.
