    Job Description
    A customer is seeking a Procurement Specialist in the Denver, CO area.

    • Supplier Relationship Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors
    • Conduct regular assessments of suppliers' performance, negotiate favorable terms and conditions, and manage contracts to ensure maximum value and quality.
    • Generate accurate purchase orders based on requisitions and contract agreements
    • Review purchase requests, obtain necessary approvals, and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
    • Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate findings to management.
    • Document and file vendor invoices
    • Follow up on order status

    Skills and Requirements

    • 1+ years of pervious procurement, supply chain or vendor management experience
    • Excel experience
    • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
    • Strong understanding of procurement best practices, supplier management, and contract negotiation
