Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer service and the ability to work collaboratively in a retail environment. This role involves engaging with customers, handling transactions, and supporting the overall operations of the store. The Associate will play a vital role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers while ensuring that store standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and product selections.
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product offerings to effectively assist customers.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance the overall shopping experience.
- Utilize retail math skills to assist in inventory management and stock replenishment.
- Ensure that merchandise is properly stocked, organized, and displayed according to store standards.
- Exhibit strong phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries.
- Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management tasks.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and cash register operation is advantageous.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
- Basic math skills are essential for managing transactions and stock levels.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment is highly valued.
