    Description

    CTG is seeking to fill a Workday Extend Solutions Architect position for our client.

    Location: New York, NY

    Duration: 5 months

    Responsibilities

    • Design, build, and deploy Workday Extend applications to deliver custom business solutions on the Workday platform.

    • Define enterprise architecture standards and design scalable, secure solutions using Workday Extend, Workday Canvas, Orchestrate, and APIs.

    • Architect and implement integrations between Extend applications, core Workday HCM and Financials, and external systems.

    • Govern data models, security frameworks, API usage, and the full Extend application lifecycle.

    • Provide architectural oversight to ensure solutions align with enterprise technology roadmaps and Workday best practices.

    • Partner with business stakeholders, functional leads, and technical teams to guide solution design and resolve complex architectural challenges.

    Skills

    • Deep expertise in Workday Extend, including application design, development, and deployment.

    • Strong knowledge of integrations, API design, cloud architecture, and security models.

    • Experience with Workday Canvas, Orchestrate, and Workday integration frameworks.

    • Proven technical leadership with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

    Experience

    • 7+ years of experience in enterprise application architecture or solution architecture roles.

    • 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing Workday Extend solutions.

    • Demonstrated experience leading architecture design in complex, integrated enterprise environments.

    Education

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
