Job Summary


The Club at Kalea, a private club in Naples, FL, and part of Soave Hospitality Group, is currently seeking a full-time, year-round Cafeteria Cook to join our culinary team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals in a cafeteria setting, ensuring food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking areas.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Assist with menu planning and daily specials when required.
Work collaboratively with cafeteria staff to provide excellent customer service.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Follow portion control guidelines to minimize waste.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a cook in a cafeteria, restaurant, or similar environment preferred.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Schedule

This position may require working mornings, afternoons, and occasional weekends depending on cafeteria hours. More information regarding schedule will be provided during interview.
