Position Summary:

Join the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at Haywood Regional Hospital as a Registered Nurse (RN) and be a part of a movement dedicated to community well-being. Our approach to healthcare goes beyond treating illnesses; it focuses on fostering a sense of community, compassion, and shared responsibility. Your responsibilities will include delivering care interventions, documenting patient information, monitoring conditions, and collaborating with the care team for optimal patient support.

Required Education

Completion of an accredited nursing program is mandatory. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Certifications

AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)

AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire and maintained thereafter.

Required Licenses

Active RN licensure in North Carolina or a Compact State.

Required Skills

Essential skills include critical thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently in high-pressure situations.
