    Data Solution Architect

    Our client is currently looking to hire a Data Solution Architect. This position falls under our clients line of business on their Data and Analytics team. In this role, you will support mission critical business applications related to data matching that include a matching engine, auxiliary data pipelines, inbound and outbound SQL stored procedures, views, and other data objects that optimize overall match results. You will also contribute to and support our clients prospect vendor processes. This will include running internal stakeholder meetings to gain feedback and enhancement requests from Sales and Operations, ownership of the customer-facing excel template used by Sales to present to prospective clients (making enhancements, updating formulas, improving algorithms, etc.), and supporting the back-end matching process (monitoring and testing to ensure it is optimized, fixing any bugs, etc.). This is a critical role that supports both revenue and sales and requires someone who can excel as an individual contributor, has great customer-relationship skills, deep technical skills, and a passion for understanding our business and continuous improvement mentality.

    This role is a hybrid model in Atlanta, Georgia, Nashville, Tennessee, or Dallas, Texas. Fully remote candidates who reside in Central or Eastern Time zones may also be considered.

    You will be successful in this role if:

    • You have experience working directly with and reporting to business stakeholders to track and enable business value.
    • You can regularly articulate recommendations, risks, options, and progress to stakeholders in written deck formats and formal verbal delivery settings.

    Data Solution Architect Responsibilities

    • Supporting mission critical business applications related to data matching that include a matching engine, auxiliary data pipelines, inbound and outbound SQL stored procedures, views, and other objects that optimize the results of data matching.
    • Hands-on support of prospect matching front-end excel templates that synthesize various data inputs with complex, nested formulas to allow visualization of the clients value for Customers as well as backend matching processes that contribute to the overall results.
    • Regular cross-team collaboration to gather requirements and prioritize work related revenue optimization, reporting, and/or MDM initiatives.
    • Assisting in configuring and implementing data structures for key business domains that will optimize card penetration and revenue.
    • Contribute to the maintenance of and communicate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) / performance metrics on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis to provide leadership with insights and progress.

    Data Solution Architect Qualifications

    • College education (BS Computer Science or Information Systems) or equivalent experience required. Higher education in analysis, information systems, computer science, data or equivalent experience preferred.
    • Minimum 4 years of experience with current data and software technologies such as: SQL Server, Master Data Management (MDM), Data Matching, Power Automate, Azure Data Factory, .NET, C#, Python, Azure, AWS, Machine Learning
    • Experience interfacing and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
    • Minimum of 4 years database (SQL Server preferred) experience in a fintech, payment or technical environment.
    • Advanced computer skills experience with Microsoft Excel and macros and knowledge of data integrity and architecture required.
    • Preference given to someone with expertise in Python.

    • Mathematics Knowledge of arithmetic, financial math, statistics, and their applications.
    • Technology Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications and data driven tools. Ability to learn our clients systems and software. Use of proprietary database products, CRM software (Salesforce), ticketing software (Zendesk), fax and phone systems.

    Salary: $120,000-$140,000/year. (DOE)
