    Our client has an opening for an Executive Assistant
    This person will provide administrative and executive support to the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy, Financial Management and Comptroller
    The right candidate will have at least 4 years of EA/Office Manager experience, preferably at the Headquarters level and/or at the Pentagon
    Must have experience working in a complex customer environment, possess a flexible mindset, and is solution oriented
    Additionally, this person will need to have a DoD Secret clearance
    If you do not have an active clearance, you will not be considered for the role
    This role is onsite at the Pentagon

    Desired Skills and Experience:

    • DoD Secret clearance;
    • Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required;
    • Must have 4 years of DoD Executive Assistant/Office Manager experience;
    • Strong calendar management and meeting preparation skills;
    • Experience with Electronic Task Management System (ETMS2) and Defense Travel System (DTS);
    • Ability to synthesize information quickly and transform it into actionable reports;
    • Strong critical thinking and analysis, planning, and problem-solving skills;
    • Advanced verbal and written communication ability

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide oversight, management, and support for administrative initiatives, including the development of Day Books for leadership
    These Day Books consist of read-ahead reports, correspondence action lists, meeting agendas, etc.


    • Conduct executive management calendars by scheduling internal and external meetings, identifying all potential meeting conflicts, and engaging with the Chief of Staff to de-conflict any meetings and events
    • Schedule/coordinate meetings with OSD, SECNAV, UNSECNAV, ASNs, PDASNs CNO, VNCO, CMC, ACMC, other Navy and USMC offices, and other government personnel and contractors;
    • Responsible for a wide range of administrative and executive support-related tasks involving clerical, administrative function, and research;
    • Handle confidential information and communications;
    • Have a full comprehension of the organization's operation and procedures
