    Job Description The ICAM DevOps Engineer organizes and executes the configuration and operation of management systems, tools, and other technologies in support of the ICAM solution.

    This position will be directly involved with the design, development, integration, and maintenance of DoD applications moving into the ICAM solution.

    The ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging DoD environment is a must. This position is HYBRID, requiring the selected candidate to report on-site several days a week to our Ft. Meade, MD facility.

    How the ICAM DevOps Engineer will make an impact:


    • Participates and contributes in specific engineering activities, coordinating changes and problem cases.
    • Develops and maintains a range of documentation for processes and procedures related to functional areas and responsibilities.
    • Recommend and implement system enhancements that improve the performance, security (data integrity), and reliability of the system.
    • Provides performance, configuration, and capacity data to ensure the health, confidentiality, integrity, availability of assigned servers/services, as well as supporting data to assist in the planning of customer-facing services, features, and capabilities.
    • Work with senior leadership, both internal and external, on planning and executing tasks using Agile methodologies.
    • Install, integrate, configure, and deploy ICAM solution capabilities.
    • Support program goals and objectives utilizing DevOps engineering experience and skills.
    • Participate in reviews, integration, deployment, and demo events.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve development and production data and related technical issues.
    • Active engagement with the team on planning tasks using Agile methodologies; provide expert guidance and solutioning where appropriate.
    • Participate in Scrum calls, brief status on tasked assignments.
    • Provide scheduling and integration support as necessary to modify, change, or implement required engineering changes to the ICAM solution.
    • Provides interpretation to systems matters that are highly unique and very difficult in nature.
    • Provides guidance and leadership to less-experienced colleagues.
    • Other related duties as required.

    What you'll need to succeed (Required):

    • Bachelor's Degree and a Minimum of 5 years of related technical experience required. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
    • Active Secret security clearance required.
    • DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or higher) required.
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience with COTS product integration - configuration and integration/development/scripting with vendor components in customer environments.
    • Minimum of 1 year of Unix experience in an DoD or government enterprise environment.
    • Extensive experience as a systems engineer or software developer in a government environment, dealing with business critical, secure, and highly available systems.
    • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker and/or Kubernetes)
    • Experience with Agile project management and associated tools.

    What you'll need to succeed (Desired):

    • Identity Management and Authentication/Authorization integration experience (e.g. Active Directory, SAML, LDAP, MFA, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, etc.).
    • Linux+ or equivalent certificate/experience in RHEL/CentOS Linux.
    • Experience deploying and maintaining virtualization technologies.
    • Experience developing coding/scripting to build required automation and tools (using Ansible, Ruby, Python, Bash, Powershell, Java, etc.).
    • Experience with DevSecOps concepts, tools and automation skills.
    • Familiarity with industry standard host-based security systems (HBSS) and Assured Compliance Assessment Solutions (ACAS).
    • Experience configuring and/or utilizing monitoring/logging solutions.
    • Experience troubleshooting issues related to storage and/or networking
