    As a Health & Welfare Plan Supplier Manager, you will have responsibility to build and sustain effective supplier relationships, ensure adherence to compliance and contractual agreements, and foster a culture with a laser focus on the customer experience. Primary areas of focus include managing delivery of GE Vernova's active employee and retiree health, life insurance, and other miscellaneous benefit plans. You will partner with key GE Vernova stakeholders in Total Rewards to collaboratively provide competitive, employee-valued benefit plans. In these and other related areas, you will influence and engage suppliers to develop strong partnerships, develop, implement and analyze performance metrics and create and drive innovative plan and process improvements, and lead various cross functional projects and initiatives related to pay, benefits, and/or HR Operations processes and programs.

    Job Description

    Roles and Responsibilities:
    • Strategically manage suppliers through effective relationship management, process management, metrics, contract compliance, controllership and oversight of operations
    • Colaboratively lead with key Vernova stakeholders the RFP sourcing, selection, and implementation intiatives for health, life, and other program vendors
    • Engage and influence suppliers strategically to establish communication guidelines, performance standards, and operating rhythm.
    • Coordinate and build collaborative partnerships between key GE Vernova TR stakeholdrs and suppliers
    • Own, organize, and maintain all information, systems, and processes involved in administering employee programs and policies, monitor and communicate status and risks to all key stakeholders
    • Serve as Subject Matter Expert providing review and consultation to the GE Business teams regarding health and life insurance programs and processes; promote "Best in Class" customer experience.
    • Be an industry Subject Matter Expert (SME) on health and life insurance benefit programs. Understand current and future industry trends, maintain a pulse on industry administrators and technology advancements.
    • Develop and practice innovative problem-solving and resolution delivery for issues and concerns with processes, programs, and compliance risks.
    • Implement and monitor key metrics; identify trends and continuously identify process gaps and risk areas to drive new process improvement initiatives.
    • Ownership of compliance and controllership mechanisms to ensure adherence to all legislative requirements including supporting plan audits - encompassing a detailed review of eligibility, coverage, claims processing, and payments.
    • Lead project management activities including: defect identification and resolution, resource management, setting and achieving critical milestones, change order development and implementation
    • Utilize LEAN principals to drive operational technology/process improvements to deliver a contemporary experience for the business and employees.
    • Work across project work streams to ensure effective integration. Success is dependent on ability to work across a large matrix organization, and ability to partner and foster productive working relationships with related project and processing groups. This includes payroll, benefits, service delivery, and business teams.
    • Identify and mitigate risks for all of your deliverables: track risks, escalate issues & coordinate resolution, communicate efficiently and effectively to all stakeholders.
    Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in business administration with a focus on healthcare delivery)
    • Minimum 3 years professional experience in a project or supplier manager role
    • Minimum 3 years experience in HR Operations
    • Minimal travel may be required, as needed, to support business and customers within the region
    Desired Characteristics:
    • Master's degree preferred
    • Previous experience working with GE
    • Experience working with outsourced providers and creating meaningful performance measurements via scorecard/audit tools and processes.
    • Industry expertise in healthcare administration/delivery (knowledge of benefits, claims processing and federal, state, healthcare, and other applicable regulatory laws)
    • Demonstrated success managing projects and/or implementing process improvement initiatives
    • Strong customer service focus, with the ability to anticipate customer needs and provide a high level of responsiveness
    • Strong analytical, problem solving and clear-thinking skills; able to identify risks and trends, organize and analyze data
    • Solid interpersonal skills; proven ability to develop and maintain required support relationships
    • Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy; ability to thrive in fast-paced, highly matrixed environment
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - ability to present data in a clear, concise, and articulate manner and targeted for the right audience
    • Proven negotiation, conflict resolution, and facilitation skills
    • Self-starter/team player, resourceful; quick learner; self-motivated
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
    • Six Sigma Green Belt Certification, Lean Management, or equivalent quality management experience
    • HR systems knowledge
    If contracted in the US:

    The salary range for this position is $92,900 - $154,800 USD annually. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus. Available benefits include a full package including medical, dental, vision, generous paid time off and much more.
