Job summary
This position serves as a Benefits Consultant for the South Carolina Department of Transportation.Serves as a contact between SCDOT, PEBA, and all other designated benefit program area representatives. Performs other related duties as necessary.
The physical demands for the essential functions includes sitting or standing at a desk for an extended periods and working on a computer. May be required to lift up to 30 lbs. May be required to work outside normal work schedule.
Assists employees and other internal customers with SC PEBA insurance/retirement benefit programs including plan features procedures eligibility premium information.
