Manufacturing engineer
Contract position
Location: Wichita, KS

• Create and Re-write of current manufacturing planning work instructions to include detailed installation, processes and procedures, specifications and quality inspections.
• Customer specification interpretation
• Updating the BOM to the current Engineering and planning manufacturing standards.
• ROS Conversions which involves Creating Material Masters, Revise Material Masters, Viewing Display Material for Reference,
• Engineer Chance Master and using different T-Codes
• SAP Long Text must be reviewed by analyzing Engineering Drawings, Catia Models, OEM parts list and Standard Specification
• Create and Review Graphic Work Instructions, assembly methods to support production flow of aircraft components
• Using the established manufacturing planning process flow, sequence in a define routing order, develops Graphic Work
• Instructions, manufacturing datasets, tooling requirements and Bill Of Material
• Communication with all teams (engineering, tooling, production, quality) to assure the product is completed correctly and on schedule to the customer

Qualifications Basic

• At least 5 years of experience in Aerospace Industry as a Manufacturing Engineer.
• Comprehensive knowledge on Aero-structures

Preferred

• Knowledge of Aerospace industry and standards
• Experience in SAP
• Experience in CATIA V5 (2D and 3D)
• Blueprint reading ( 2D drawings)
•  Strong oral and written communication skills
