Our Cobot Welder Operators are an integral part of the team, responsible for forming parts using various types of machinery.
Our Machine Operators will be assigned to a specific area, but are always empowered to cross-train in order to learn a variety of different machines.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesUse Cobot Welder to weld needed parts.Cross train on the tack station. Understand and follow all company procedures for safety.
Inspect work pieces to conform to specifications and adjust machine to correct errors. Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms. Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.
Test finished products for defects.
Maintain the tools used to create products.
Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.
Other duties as assigned.
Strive to meet production demands.
QualificationsEducationHigh school diploma or GED preferred; not required Specialized Knowledge and ExperienceAbility to read and comprehend blue prints, shop floor documentation, customer specifications/diagrams, instructions provided by supervisors/managers.
No experience is required, but the successful candidates must have the mechanical aptitude to manufacture parts with high quality. Skills and AbilitiesOther SkillsMUST BE DEPENDABLEExcellent attention to detail;Must show concern for quality and practice continuous improvement;Physical requirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
