- Provide psychiatric and substance abuse evaluation of individuals and families in crisis in home, community, clinic, and hospital settings.
- Provide crisis intervention services including crisis case management and short-term crisis counseling as follow-up from initial evaluation.
- Partner with paraprofessional staff to serve youth and their families
- Collaborate with clients, families, and their providers to stabilize youth in crisis.
- Coordinate referrals to other levels of care and community providers. Maintain linkages to community providers.
- Qualifications:
- Grade C12- Clinician
- Grade C16- Clinician IV: Master's degree in a clinical course of study (social work, psychology, counseling or related field) and LICSW licensure or licensed Psychologist
- Must be licensed or license eligible- LCSW, LICSW, LMHC or CAGS.
- 1 or more years of experience providing clinical services to youth. Preference given for those with experience in fast-paced settings.
- Must have excellent clinical, written and verbal skills, and the ability to complete thorough and accurate documentation within an electronic health record.
- Must possess excellent intake, interviewing, and assessment skills.
- Must have working knowledge of current version of the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.
- Strong computer/word processing skills.
- Commitment to providing outstanding care.
- Demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations.
