    Position DetailsPosition Information Internal Posting?Posting Number SP004399P Position Title Operations Coordinator Division/College Auxiliary Services-MID Department University Bookstore Location Moscow Posting Context StatementPosition Overview This position is responsible for the shipping and receiving functions of the VandalStore.

    This incumbent is in charge of all processes related to incoming and ongoing freight. In addition, this position provides customer service to our online and off-site customers through order fulfillment for the store. This position deals with mail orders, telephone orders, robot and web orders across all categories of the store. Specific duties and day-to-day operations include customer service, order fulfillment, shipping oversight and accurate record keeping.


    Duties may include:


    Process incoming freight from the loading dock to the retail sales floorOrganize and maintain the back room overstock and satellite warehouse facilitiesProcess outgoing freightOversee transfers of merchandiseManage the warehouse inventoryTrain, supervise and support temporary help employees in shipping and receiving functionsCoordination of campus deliveries and movement of merchandise and equipment to satellite stores and remote site eventsOther duties as assigned Unit URL Qualifications Required Experience Demonstrated experience with:Cash handlingWorking in a retail environmentProcessing incoming and outgoing freightUsing computer software and applications for word processing, email, internet searches, and data organization Required Education High school diploma or equivalent Required Other Possess a valid driver's license, able to meet the University's driving requirements, and can drive a variety of vehicle types including large vans and panel trucksAbility to work a non standard schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays as neededAdditional Preferred Bachelors degreeDemonstrated experience:Supervising employees and delegating tasksWith organizational and inventory control/managementEffectively communicate with management, staff, and vendorsWith computer freight processing software e.
