    The Mechanical Reliability Engineer is responsible for acquiring and analyzing data to identify equipment reliability problems and make recommendations for projects and improvement plan.
    Implement equipment performance improvement projects by meeting objectives and preparing forecasts for resource requirements.
    Lead improvements on preventive & predictive maintenance plan and training programs.
    Provide technical guidance and oversight to team members and help in problem solving.

    These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Develop and coordinate projects that enhance machine reliability, productivity, consistent maintenance improvement in operational efficiency and safety.
  • Provide leadership, training and control to conduct breakdown analysis for equipment together with the Maintenance team.
  • Support training programs and create training control ensuring the training plans are addressing equipment performance losses and compliance gaps.
  • Lead FMEA studies into critical equipment that improve preventive and predictive maintenance processes and procedures resulting in enhanced equipment performance.
  • Provide leadership to implement predictive maintenance techniques and devices.
  • Provide guidance and control for utilization of CMMS (computerized maintenance management systems)
  • Manage machine spare parts optimization with parts criticality analysis and optimal spares inventory.
  • Support on Autonomous Maintenance and Center Lining program implementation.
  • Perform equipment evaluations to determine and justify new equipment, equipment replacement and incorporate into capital plan.
  • Work collaboratively with project engineering teams to build in reliability and maintenance efficiency 'up-front' on projects.Why you?Basic Qualifications:
    We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mechanical, chemical, industrial, electrical, or related) Preferred Qualifications:
    If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
  • 3+ years (recent/consistent) in Industrial Maintenance department in engineer role.
  • Industry experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs optimization.
  • Have solid experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Skill Matrix and Operator Asset Care.
  • Have a strong background with CMMS applications for asset management and maintenance budget tools (preferable SAP-PM module).
  • Experience, knowledge, and demonstrate accomplishment in maintenance improvement project management using techniques, concepts, principles, and standards.
  • Have experience on machinery of manufacturing mixers, high-speed packaging lines and palletizer system.
  • People management experience, communication, leadership skills and ability to shift priorities according to changes in departmental/facility needs and be open to different ideas/approaches.
  • Preferable experience in industries with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards and FDA (Food and Drug Administration) regulated.Haleon offers a robust Total Reward package that consists of competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits program.

    The salary range for this role is:
    $82,594 to $123,891
