Overview:

Axient is seeking a Subject Matter Expert in systems engineering and integration. As a part-time, casual employee the SME will provide specialist support Mission Management Training.

The candidate Will interact with senior project personnel at MSFC, Prime Contractors, other NASA Center, DoD, Industry, and Academia professionals associated with this task.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Programmatic and technical recommendations
• Support in preparing training material
• Support in presenting training material
• Assisting in planning activities
• Supporting trade studies
• Performing systems analyses
• Making technical risk management inputs
• Supporting reviews, working groups and boards
• Providing periodic status inputs to project
• As requested by the Government, prepare and deliver programmatic briefings
• Other duties as required

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Subject Matter Expert level - 25 years relevant experience desired.
• Expert level knowledge of NPR NASA Flight Program and Project Management Requirements and NPR Systems Engineering Processes and Requirements.
• Work experience providing various levels of support with prior NASA Program Management and/or Human Space Flight.
