    Description
    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior High Voltage/Substation Commissioning Engineer to join our team.

    The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in designing high voltage substations and overseeing the commissioning process onsite.

    Responsibilities:
    Lead the commissioning activities for high voltage substations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
    Develop commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules in coordination with project stakeholders.
    Conduct pre-commissioning checks, functional testing, and performance evaluations of substation equipment and systems.
    Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the commissioning phase, working closely with design engineers and field personnel.
    Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior commissioning engineers and technicians.
    Collaborate with project managers, clients, and contractors to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
    Prepare comprehensive commissioning reports and documentation for client review and regulatory compliance.


    Requirements:


    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's degree preferred).Minimum of 10 years of experience in designing high voltage substations and conducting onsite commissioning activities (troubleshooting/relay testing, etc).Strong knowledge of substation equipment, protection relays, control systems, and power distribution systems.

    Proficiency in using testing and diagnostic tools for electrical systems (e.g., relay test sets, power analyzers, oscilloscopes).Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to substation design and commissioning (e.g., IEEE, IEC, NEC).Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

    Professional certifications such as PE (Professional Engineer) or PMP (Project Management Professional) are a plus.
