Lead and direct the Merchandising systems strategy on building the Enterprise Pricing, Assortment and General Merchandising solutions that drive business results.

Ensure various technology components are built at speed according to standard patterns with a high level of data quality. Drive initiatives, partner and coordinate across teams within technology, internal business partners and third parties. Demonstrate the company s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Responsibilities

Direct the technology strategy around pricing for all channels and ensure development is completed on time, with high quality and supports the vision of pricing for the company
Work collaboratively between the Product Management leadership, business leadership, technology, 84.51 and vendors to drive the technology for all aspects of pricing, space and floor planning and General Merchandise
Lead a team of 100+ technology associates, consultants and vendors to deliver world class technologies in the pricing, space and floor and General Merchandising areas that support the initiatives that will drive outcomes for our customers
Direct leaders within the Merchandising systems domain on development and implementation processes, including analysis, design, development, testing, and ongoing support for application systems in an environment of diverse and complex development platforms
Lead and implement strategic direction of leaders and associates within multiple software engineering design services domains, development projects/initiatives, working closely with technology and business/product management to identify/ translate complex business requirements
Lead the technical consulting and leadership, identifying and implementing new uses of information technologies that assist the functional business units in meeting their strategic objectives
Provide leadership to ensure clarity between ongoing projects and the strategic objectives of the company
Collaborate with other leaders, advisors, and partners in the formulation and execution of the technology strategies in support of the company's overall business plan
Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports

Qualifications

Minimum

Bachelor's Degree Computer Science/Engineering or related field
5+ years of experience within a software engineering environment
10+ years of experience as a software technology manager of large teams and complex multistakeholder projects
Demonstrated skill in working with multilocation global teams
Demonstrated interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate and work effectively with diverse groups of people
Proven delivery of innovative results in previous roles and strong knowledge of industry trends and industry competition
Demonstrated capability to build, mentor and maintain an inclusive teambased environment
Proven expertise and experience in business case development, product scoping and project planning with development teams
Working knowledge of data quality processes and analysis

Desired

Master's Degree Computer Science/Engineering or related field
Any experience leading a merchandising development team
Understanding of serviceoriented architecture/Cloud (Azure)
