    Description

    Holzer Health System is looking for an experienced Hematologist/Oncologist to fill the position of Chief of the Cancer Center within our team.

    • Competitive two-year base salary of $650,000 plus incentives and bonuses
    • Bonus offered for Chief role
    • Signing bonus of $75,000
    • Reimbursement for educational loans up to $150,000 available through PSLF program
    • Monthly stipend of $2,000 for early commitments before fellowship completion
    • Support for continuing medical education and time off
    • Assistance with relocation expenses
    • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, malpractice insurance, life insurance, disability coverage, and retirement plans

    Job Details:

    • Specializing in the treatment of various cancers such as lung, colon, breast, and prostate
    • Direct affiliation with Cleveland Clinic Cancer Center for resources and assistance
    • Minimal on-call duties with primary consultations via phone; partnership with OVP Health for 24/7 hospitalist support ensuring work-life balance
    • Access to a wide referral network with over 55 primary care providers
    • Utilization of advanced technology including True Beam Radiation Oncology services
    • Access to additional support services like General Surgery, Pathology, Radiology, Wound Care, and Therapy among others
    • Regular schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
    • Split of Hematology/Oncology responsibilities at 60/40
    • Opportunity to mentor residents and medical students
    • Expansion opportunities in the existing team

    Chief Responsibilities:

    • Oversee Cancer Center operations ensuring compliance with relevant accreditations
    • Act as the main point of contact for all cancer-related matters within the Health System
    • Contribute to the development of operational policies and procedures for the Cancer Center to maintain high-quality patient care
    • Establish connections with various stakeholders for effective patient care coordination
    • Participate in recruitment activities for new healthcare providers in the Cancer Center
    • Conduct interviews, performance evaluations, and staff development activities
