    The RCM Manager is responsible for maintaining key relationships with practice executives, managing RCM performance for assigned practice locations, and developing performance initiatives for practice-based revenue cycle management (RCM) teams, third-party RCM vendors, and internal RCM teams. This position will drive RCM projects, utilize analytics to guide workflow optimization, and assist in managing workflows for corporate in-house RCM teams. The RCM Manager may oversee various identified departments within the RCM team, such as General, Pediatric, Orthodontics, and others. May also have responsibilities for specific tasks within insurance or processes.
    A Day In The Life Of
    • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with practice executives and key physician leadership at each practice you support
    • Analyze data trends and performance metrics related to the Revenue Cycle and be able to communicate performance status to an executive audience
    • Prepare analysis and insights for practice and executive-level RCM leadership on practice performance during Monthly and weekly Operations Reviews
    • Implement new workflows, policies, and procedures using PepperPointe Partnership's best practices to bring standardization across all practices on the RCM platform
    • Provide ad hoc analytics and reporting to drive awareness on performance gaps
    • Develop and successfully execute action plans to resolve performance issues and/or RCM process inefficiencies
    • Assist with occasional system maintenance and management of centralized data components for each practice
    • Collaborate with the Other Departmental Team to develop best practices and their supporting documentation, including process maps, QRG's, and training materials
    • Perform effectively in a matrix environment where multiple and competing customer demands are likely.
    • Perform month end close and RCM analytics and reporting
    • Ensure adherence to coding and billing compliance requirements
    • Oversee Provider and Facility Enrollment and re-enrollment processes for all types of payers, commercial, governmental, and Medicaid
    • Provide Education and Training for practice teams and corporate teams on RCM-related tasks and processes.
    • Perform Compliance Audits on RCM process and payers and uphold the compliance standards, working closely with the compliance officer
    • Understanding of Medicaid, Manage Care Organizations, Commercial, and Government payer billing guidelines and processes.
    • Other duties as assigned to help drive our mission of PepperPointe Partnerships
    What You'll Bring To The Table
    • 3+ years of relevant dental and healthcare and RCM leadership experience
    • Dental experience a plus
    • Possible travel to practices
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
    • Must be detail oriented and organized
    • Strong Microsoft suite skills required including Excel and PowerPoint
    • Dental Practice Management proficiency desired but not required
    • Analytical skills and knowledge
    • High integrity, including maintenance of confidential information
    • Based on business need, the ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends
