    A bit about you

    GroundTruth is looking to bring on an experienced, dynamic, and transformative individual to lead our Managed Sales team as the Vice President of Managed Sales. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth, leading and developing sales teams, fostering strong client relationships, and being a culture-centric leader. This position offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future forward reporting to and partnering directly with the CEO.

    You will:

    • Lead, mentor, and coach a Managed sales team of 30+ sellers to drive performance and exceed sales goals
    • Establish and track key performance indicators to evaluate sales performance, measure progress against goals, and identify areas for improvement and growth
    • Implement strategic and innovative multi-platform sales plans and be responsible for driving and achieving revenue targets while increasing profitability
    • Implement pricing strategies, sales promotions, sponsorships and integrations to increase revenue across all channels and platforms
    • Identify new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with key clients, advertisers, and agencies
    • Collaborate closely with senior leadership to ensure alignment with overall organizational objectives
    • Partner with Finance team to refine Commission structure
    • Develop and manage the sales budget, including forecasting, tracking expenses, and monitoring performance against targets and a P&L
    • Prepare regular sales reports, presentations, forecasts and budgets for executive management
    • Represent GroundTruth through thought-leadership opportunities at conferences (panel participant, moderating round-tables, speaking engagements) and agency-wide education/leadership sessions

    You have:

    • Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business or similar relevant field preferred, but not required
    • 8+ years of relevant sales experience with a proven track record of success and 4+ years experience managing Sales teams and/or relevant management experience
    • Ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve ambitious goals
    • A growth mindset and choose courage over comfort when it comes to leading and carrying out the responsibilities within your role
    • Expert-level understanding of the mobile ecosystem, location-based data and the various players in the space (location-based, attribution partners, programmatic, rich media providers, etc.)
    • Experience in building relationships with senior level clients and working directly with the C-Suite
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
    • Drive for finding new business (hot/cold leads), maintaining and growing current business while consistently curating pipelines of potential business
    • Technical Skills: Salesforce, MSFT product suite, MediaOcean/Prisma, Expensify, Clearslide, ZOOM, Slack, The LIST/Winmo, SellerCrowd, Media Radar
    • Flexibility in both working hours and ability to travel for client meetings, industry events, or other business-related activities

    The base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. Our compensation package also includes a comprehensive benefits platform offering and a commission plan. The salary range for this position is listed below.

    Salary Range

    $200,000—$280,000 USD
