Your Role as a Dental Hygienist

As a Dental Hygienist, you will be an elite clinical provider and patient advocate. You'll be a vital part of our patient care team, ensuring that every patient receives the time and attention they deserve. Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Virginia and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
• Excellent knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening.
• CPR Certification.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
• A desire to continue learning and growing your clinical skills to meet patient needs.
• Clinical needs as required by the office.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as required by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds.
• Availability to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year.
• A tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions, arranged during the pre-employment process.
