    Join Our Team as an MPU Technician at Empower Solar


    Are you ready to take your residential electrical experience to the next level? Empower Solar, a full-service residential solar installer, is seeking skilled and motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as MPU Technicians. As an MPU Technician, you will play a crucial role in completing residential service panel upgrades to facilitate solar projects. Your responsibilities will include reviewing upcoming job photos, coordinating materials with the warehouse, and providing project updates to the Project Coordinator and Management.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Minimum 3 years of residential electrical experience.
    • Thorough understanding of NEC codes.
    • Prior experience in service upgrades.
    • Familiarity with residential solar systems.
    • Capability to integrate existing solar systems into main panels.
    • Able to lift 40 pounds occasionally.
    • Comfort working at heights and in confined spaces.
    • Experience adhering to OHSA safety regulations.
    • Valid driver's license with a clean record.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    • Effective troubleshooting abilities.
    • Precision in installing residential main service panels and wiring.
    • Coordination with Utility onsite for disconnect/reconnect processes.
    • Successful AHJ electrical inspection outcomes.

    • Self-motivated with a focus on productivity, detail, and safety.
    • Proficient in power and hand tool usage, including training others.
    • Ability to perform stucco repairs.

    Responsibilities:
