Description
Summary:
Currently looking to hire mechanically inclined candidates to assist with the assembly of custom/special projects This is an environment engaged exclusively in the design, manufacturing, and sale of lab instruments and apparatuses for purposes such as - testing of fuels, chemical reactors, and performing experiments that require heat and pressure.
Job Description:
Will be performing mechanical and electrical assembly based on drawings, schematics, and CAD models in a prototype manufacturing environment. Duties include -Mechanical alignment of parts in orderly detail resulting in a finished product.
Perform electrical tasks such as wiring, soldering, and testing electrical connections.
Abide by all associated assembly test procedures and documenting results.
Working based off verbal and written instructions.
Regularly utilizing hand/power/pneumatic tools, etc.
Communicating with other departments to ensure proper work flow
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
2-5 years of mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience
Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
Experience in using an assortment of hand tools (torque wrench, wire cutter, wire stripper, various electrical terminal crimpers, drills, electrical meters, etc)
Experience with ISO 9001:2015 is a plus.
Additional Information:
1st shift, Monday - Friday
May require overtime and some Saturday's as necessary
$20-$25/hr, dependent on experience
WEEKLY pay + full benefits (medical/dental/vision)
7% 401k/Pension match after 6 months
