    Overview

    We are seeking a full-time

    Aviation Training Learning Management System Administrator and Designer

    in our Olathe, KS location.

    In this role, you will be responsible leading the Aviation Training Team's day-to-day use of the Garmin LMS and internal training management and uses software applications to tailor LMS and training product solutions.

    Essential Functions
    Implement knowledge management and project management processes that are used to support operational efficiency, innovation, and revenue growth
    Develop comprehensive knowledge of the LMS and its capabilities
    Lead day-to-day Learning Management System (LMS) management, development, and organization for Aviation Training including the roles of learning administrator, trainer, troubleshooter, and user support specialist
    Develop LMS integration expertise and assist organizations across Garmin to achieve desired capabilities
    Configure/create LMS courses, generate reports/assessments, develop certifications, design learning paths/curricula, and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance the learning experience
    Design/implement processes and technologies to capture user analytics
    Teach/mentor Aviation Training, Aviation Product Support (APS), and Garmin Aviation associates on how to fulfill their training roles and responsibilities using the LMS
    Serve as Aviation Training internal training LMS expert to assist associates in developing training classes, courses, certifications, and programs
    Proficient using software products such as Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate/Lectora, and other software programs/applications to develop LMS capabilities and solutions as well as training content
    Lead day-to-day management of, and training for, systems, processes, and tools required for performance of team projects, content development, and content distribution
    Plan and develop projects to meet time, scope, budget, and quality objectives
    Assist in conducting continuous training needs analysis with leaders, managers, and subject matter experts across Garmin and the industry to determine internal/external training development and delivery needs
    Collaborate with Training Team Manager/Supervisors to identify, collect requirements, develop, and/or implement systems, processes, and tools to support Aviation Training projects, product development, or other efforts
    Collaborate with Training Team Manager/Supervisors to manage processes, policies, and tools for identifying, organizing, storing/hosting and disseminating information
    Ensure all customer, business partner, and Garmin business information is maintained in strict confidence consistent with contractual confidentiality obligations as well as Proprietary Information/Confidentiality provisions set forth in Garmin's Associate Handbook, Garmin Data Classification and Handling Policy, and other policies
    Flexibility to travel domestically or internationally (less than 10% of time)
    Produce Aviation Training Visitor Guides, Training Catalogs, system and process maps, carousel display graphics, and other products, as directed
    Partner with organizations and associates across Garmin to support Garmin Aviation, APS, and Aviation Training efforts
    Work with Marketing/Legal departments to ensure accurate application of Garmin product registrations/trademarks and that all products conform to Garmin branding standards
