    Field Laborer

    Job Summary

    The primary focus of this position is to perform general labor for the rental department, such as deliveries, installations, and essential maintenance and repair of pump equipment. This position is a Non-Exempt position and, per the Fair Labor and Standards Act (FLSA), will be paid at 1.5x the base rate for any hours worked over 40 hours in a workweek.

    Responsibility & Duties

    Installs and ensures the efficient and safe operation of equipment, new or replacement parts, instruments, or other components.

    Delivers and retrieves equipment for rental jobs as requested.

    Assists in the loading and unloading of pumps and equipment for clients, sales, and service personnel.

    Cleans vehicles, equipment, tools, and work areas, as necessary.

    Acts as an "emergency responder" to service, deliver, or repair equipment as needed.

    Interacts professionally and in collaboration with customers to determine job solutions and the best course of action.

    Keeps accurate and timely records of equipment movement, installation progress, service schedules, customer interactions, and other paperwork as required for proper documentation of work performed.

    Maintain a safe working environment.

    Other duties as assigned.

    Skills & Abilities

    Ability to work in varied outdoor environments.

    Ability to receive and carry out instructions.

    Ability to do the occasional heavy lifting.

    Ability to work overtime when necessary.

    Must adhere to safety rules and wear proper personal protection equipment (PPE)

    Must be a team player.

    Must have basic mechanical skills.

    Must be able to use hand and power tools.

    Must be dependable.

    Must be eager to learn.

    Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.

    Must be able to read and write English.

    Experience & Education

    High School Diploma or GED preferred

    Forklift certification is required within 90 days of hire.

    Valid driver's license with clean driving required; CDL a plus.

    Recent experience with customer service preferred.

    Experience in rental/pump industry preferred.

    Welding experience is a plus.
