    Description

    The Pharmacy Practice Resident, during the one-year training program, is responsible for developing the skills, knowledge and attitude necessary for the provision of high quality pharmaceutical care.

    He/she is expected to demonstrate the ability to function effectively as a staff pharmacist, meeting the same standards of performance, duties and functions.

    This posting is for multiple openings of a PGY-1 Pharmacy Resident at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK. We offer several openings for various FTEs and shifts.

    We are hiring for the following positions in the Pharmacy Department:

    PGY-1 Pharmacy Resident - 1.0 Variable Shift

    Required Qualifications:

    • Graduated from an accredited college or university of pharmacy.
    • Alaska Pharmacist Intern License upon hire. Or
    • Alaska Pharmacist License upon hire.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • PharmD
    • Previous experience in hospital pharmacy practice as a student, intern or pharmacist.
