Job summary

The Personal Lines Select Assistant Account Specialist will assist the PL Select Department in supporting day to day client management transactions.

Qualifications

• 1 - 3 years' experience of Personal Lines client management experience preferred
• Valid P&C brokers' license
• College degree preferred
• Proficient in insurance agency management systems: AMS 360, WorkSmart and EPIC preferred
• Knowledge of Personal Lines underwriting, coverage and procedures

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining constructive and effective relationships with internal and external clients by assisting the PL Select Account Specialists and Producers and responding to client/carrier communications as assigned
• Leveraging Personal Lines insurance knowledge and expertise to actively assist in servicing existing accounts
• Fostering an environment of personal accountability by managing appropriate system records of service, marketing, and policy communications
• Nurturing professional relationships with carriers with consistent carrier contact
• Participating in the retention of renewal business by supporting the PL Select Account Specialists with interacting with Producers to prepare applications, underwriting data and related information in the marketing of personal insurance products
• Ensuring the client has continuous and proper coverage by assisting the PL Select Account Specialist assigned to the client. This includes, but not limited to: marketing/rating, endorsements, recommendations, billing, ID Cards, policy/quote/binder checking, summaries of insurance, certificates and follow ups of outstanding items
