Makespreliminarydiagnosis,evaluatespatientspresenting for services, directs, prescribes or provides treatment, orarranges for specialized care or patient referralas required
providingemergencycareasrequired.
Gives total patient care including prevention, health maintenance, early diagnosis, treatment and follow‐up services to patients under his/her care.

Assures preparation of appropriate medical records for all patients seen to assure the accumulation and organization of all pertinent clinical data needed to provide comprehensivemedicalcare.

Workscloselywithalliedhealthprofessionals(i.e.,CommunityHealthNurse,SocialWorkers, HealthEducator,etc.)toutilizeandcoordinatetheservicesofotherhealthcareprofessional in the management of the patient's medical, psychological and social problems.
Reviewsthepatient'smedications, diet, therapycourse,adherence tomanagementplanandpatientobservations.
Whenworkinginurgentcaredepartment,providespatientcareandobtainsconsultantsas needed.
Providesprimarymedical caretopatientswithawidespectrumofillnessinurgentcaredepartment.
Providesurgentcareincludingevaluation,stabilizationandtransferofpatientswithsepsis,MI,lacerationfracture,abdominalpain,glycemicissues,psychiatricillness,respiratoryconditions,pediatricillnessandrenaldysfunction

Qualifications:
Shallread,understand,speak,andwrite Englishtoeffectivelycommunicate.
Shallpossessbasicknowledge,skills,andabilitiestouse andeffectivelynavigateacomputerandthesubsequentelectronicprograms.

Education/Certifications:
Shallbeboardcertifiedorboardeligiblewiththe American Board of Family Physicians or American Board ofInternalMedicine.
DrugEnforcementAdministration(DEA)License.
ShallmaintainavalidandcurrentCardiopulmonaryResuscitation(CPR),BasicLife Support(BLS).AdvancedCardiacLifeSupport(ACLS)andPediatricAdvancedLifeSupport(PALS) certifications.
