    What You'll Do:


    We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions.

    The Senior Accountant is responsible for reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures.


    Additional responsibilities include:
    Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for APR Supply and affiliated companies
    Contribute to monthly close process including journal entries, variances, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
    Perform general ledger account reconciliations and ensure accounts are properly maintained in accordance with GAAP standards
    Complete weekly dashboard / score cards for the executive team in addition to analyzing financial data
    Assist with annual external audits by gathering requested documents and answering auditor questions
    Support the marketing and sales departments with monthly income statements
    Monitor internal financial controls and recommend improvements for efficiency and risk reduction
    Collaborate with outside accountants to maintain fixed asset schedules.
    Complete local tax, and state and local governmental reporting
    Support budgeting and forecasting activities through data analysis and report development

    Required for Success:
    3 years proven experience as an accountant
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
    Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
    Strong organizational and time management skills
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Word, Excel, OneNote, and Teams
    Expected to work independently, working under the general direction of the Corporate Controller
    High level of professionalism coupled with good interpersonal and communication skills
    Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
    Strong attention to detail and mathematical aptitude
    High degree of accuracy

    Salary range depending on experience:
