Summary of Position:
The HR Talent Specialist serves as first point of contact/triage for incoming HR inquiries, requests, or issues from Associates or People Managers.
The role provides administrative support to senior leaders, including email correspondence, generation and distribution of memos, letters, spreadsheets, forms, and faxes.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Contributes to service delivery that fosters a Tickled, Delighted, and Happy (TDH) experience outcome
Serve as the conduit for confidential questions between HR leaders, Region Presidents and Division Presidents
Liaise with executive and senior coordinators and executive assistants (EA's) to handle and respond to inquiries
Plan, organize, and schedule company meetings in the office, off-site, and via video conference
Conduct periodic internal reviews or audits to ensure compliance procedures are followed
Partner with AskHR to help prepare and validate relevant HR pre-hire information
Maintain associate database and inventory
Coordinate travel arrangements for senior leaders
Submit and reconcile senior leader expense reports
Provide general support to visitors
Assist VP and Directors with managing day to day ad-hoc administrative tasks
Responds to and directs Associate and people manager inquiries as needed and guides them to the correct team as appropriate, such as AskHR
Consults with functional partners (including Benefits, Payroll, and HRMS)
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma required; Associates Degree preferred
Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, etc.) is a plus
Experience addressing and responding to leader and customer requests
Demonstrated proficiency with the use of a computer and software application including MS Office. Experience with HRMS applications. Experience with Workday is a plus.
Basic knowledge and understanding of Federal, State, and Local legislative employment and health care laws and regulations.
