Job Title: CWI Welding Inspector

Location: Winsted, MN

Salary: $ $45.00/hr

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and certified CWI Welding Inspector to join our team in Winsted, MN. As a CWI Welding Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our welding processes through non-destructive testing methods. Candidates must possess either ASNT or CWI Certifications.

Essential Job Functions:

Determine test equipment settings and conduct tests on parts following established procedures.

Apply agents and conduct visual, penetrant, ultrasonic, and magnetic particle tests on metal parts.

Interpret test results and prepare detailed reports.

Assist in monitoring and auditing existing weld procedures.

Inspect and calibrate test equipment and document results.

Collaborate with NDT personnel and provide on-the-job training as needed.

Maintain 5S guidelines and adhere to safety protocols.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Diploma or AAS degree in Nondestructive Testing preferred.

CWI, Phased Array Certification, or Level 3 Certification in UT, MT, and VT recommended.

Proficient in interpreting blueprints and mechanical drawings.

Computer literate with knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.

Ability to operate powered industrial vehicles and use precision measuring devices.

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Adaptability and willingness to learn and grow in a challenging environment.
