Job Title:
Senior Software Engineer (Beverly, MA)

Job Duties :

Work as part of a team to develop Semiconductor Equipment Factory Automation software for next generation products and supporting current products.

Duties include:
Gather requirements from internal and external customers, perform requirements analysis, specification, architecture, design, implementation, testing and troubleshooting.

Implement the Semiconductor Equipment Factory Automation software in accordance with SECS/GEM/300mm SEMI Standards E5, E30, E87, E40, E94, E90, E84, E99 and Interface-A (EDA) SEMI Standards using C/C++/C# within the Microsoft Visual Studio Development Environment.

Learn and understand third party Semiconductor Equipment Factory Automation software packages and upgrades to implement new functionalities and features.

Learn and understand vendor's hardware and interface protocol specifications to implement the software interfaces for Load Ports, Carrier ID Readers, E84 and other Automation hardware and software using C/C++, VxWorks real-time OS.

Define and develop test procedures for Software Quality Testing. Collaborate with team members and customer support to assist with troubleshooting and education of new features and architecture changes. Assume a leadership role for software projects focused around the area of Semiconductor Equipment Factory Automation.

Position Requirement :

Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline, followed by 5 years of experience in a software development-related occupation.

Experience must include the following, which may have been gained concurrently:5 years of experience designing, developing, documenting, and testing Semiconductor Equipment Factory Automation software, or developing automated distributed systems and factory communications protocol 5 years of experience developing software using C, C++, and C# 5 years of experience using Microsoft Visual Studio Development environment 5 years of experience working on SECS/GEM/300mm SEMI Standards E5, E30, E87, E40, E94, E90, E84, E99, and Interface-A (EDA) SEMI Standards 5 years of experience implementing software for Semiconductor Equipment Automation hardware, including Load ports, Carrier ID Readers, and E84 PIO Controllers 5 years of experience using VxWorks OS or a similar real-time, multitasking operating system environment 5 years of experience applying expertise in Semiconductor Equipment Factory Automation to solve customer issues and address evolving customer needs.
