    Position Overview

    Float Pool RN with strong

    Med Surg Telemetry

    experience.

    RN must be able to pass a Telemetry Competency Exam and will float to like units and overflow areas as needed.

    Minimum Requirements (No Exceptions)

    Active Registered Nurse license
    Minimum

    2 years Med Surg Telemetry experience
    Must be able to pass Telemetry Competency Exam
    AHA BLS Certification (current)
    AHA ACLS Certification (required)
    Documented professional development activities
    Knowledge of Critical Paths
    Able to float to like units and overflow areas
    Charge Nurse experience preferred
    Testing Requirement (Pass/Fail – One Attempt Only)

    ECG/Dysrhythmia Test
    Medication Test
    Tests are administered by via Zoom prior to assignment.
    Must test within

    48 hours of offer

    Passing score: 85%

    No remediation or re-test permitted
    Study guide provided by client (strongly encouraged to prepare)
    Important Submission Requirements

    BILH coversheet required at time of submission
    Flu vaccine required during compliance
    Provide candidate's interview availability at time of submission
    All RTO must be disclosed at submission
    Additional Policies

    No local travelers

    (must reside more than 50 miles from facility)
    Travelers who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health (travel, perm, or per diem) within the last 6 months are not eligible
    Must be separated from the facility for at least 6 months to be considered

    Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
