Position Summary

We're looking for a skilled Diesel Technician/Mechanic!

Amerit Fleet Solutions, a leading fleet maintenance company in the US, is seeking a Diesel Technician/Mechanic to efficiently repair and maintain light and medium-duty fleet vehicles, ensuring safe operations.

Compensation:
Competitive Hourly Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain vehicle records manually and electronically
• Conduct repairs and preventive maintenance on light and medium-duty vehicles
• Perform safety inspections and maintain required safety documentation
• Adhere to laws, regulations, company policies, and procedures
• Inspect and work on vehicle under parts
• Carry out maintenance on equipment and vehicles
• Transport and install vehicle parts as needed
• Keep the Mobile Service Truck well-maintained
• Address off-site client requests
• Communicate with clients via email and phone
• Fulfill any other assigned duties

Key Competencies and Minimum Education:

• Minimum 5 years' vehicle maintenance experience or relevant auto/diesel technology diploma
• Valid Driver's License is required
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Fleet Management Systems, and Email
• Ability to work independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Manual transmission vehicle operation skill
• Must have own hand tools & toolbox
