    Job Description & Responsibilities

    :

    This position requires an individual 10+ years of experience in enterprise software maintenance and support.

    Candidate should have experience with software maintenance, support, and operations of applications running within MUFG, ensuring functionality and usability of software applications, diagnosing, and resolving application issues to ensure optimal performance and usability for various system users and providing root cause analysis.

    Additionally, candidate should have additional experience supporting applications on the Cloud. The Technology Operations Lead should understand cloud technologies using AWS, Azure, and Snowflake.

    Candidate will be a point of contact with Development and Business.

    Additionally, this candidate will also perform daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly operation tasks required for ongoing functionality of software applications.

    Troubleshoot errors and production problems via help desk tickets, and initiate corrective actions, along with preventive techniques where appropriate.

    Responsible for creating operation run books and other documents related to technology operations work as needed.

    Candidate should be proficient in managing P1 incidents till resolution, including managing escalations and communications.

    Will also be on a rotational on call schedule.

    Skills & Qualifications

    :


    10 or more years of related IT experience in operations, handling production support issues and/or application development and supporting applications on the cloud.

    Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred.

    Good knowledge of the cloud platform (AWS/Azure)

    Writing Code/Scripts using PowerShell, Python

    Experience supporting cloud based applications

    Experience working with Snowflake

    Service Now administration/development

    Windows Server and IIS administration

    SQL server 2019, SSIS, SSRS

    Networking/Routing/Load Balancers

    Code versioning systems (TFS/SVN/GIT)

    Ticketing systems (Service Now/JIRA)

    Soft Skills:

    Strong communication skills and ability to work complex technical issues while collaborating with different teams

    Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently or in team settings on complex production issues.

    Candidate should have effective verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate across different levels of the organization

    Working ability to effectively recognize and manage interpersonal communication needs

    Ability to analyze, resolve and document problems and resolutions


    Ability to work as part of a cross-cultural teams, excellent inter-personal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.

    Ability to work independently or part of a team.

    Understanding of software development process, change management and incident management.
