- A current Illinois RN or LPN license
- Strong written communication skills for timely documentation
- Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 3 months
- Adhere to work hours and be prepared for additional shifts if needed
- Take responsibility for nursing practice and task delegation
- Advocate for client health and rights
- Manage nursing case responsibilities
- Oversee all nursing activities for assigned clients
- Follow medication management protocols
- Provide medical education when needed
- Build professional relationships within and outside the organization
- Assess and address clients' physical and medical needs
- Document all services and ensure compliance with regulations
- Follow through with physician orders
- Participate in infection control activities
- Demonstrate proficiency in medical equipment usage
- Maintain professional relationships
