Description

American Traveler is hiring a MRI Technologist for an acute care hospital MRI unit, requiring ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification and at least 1 year of MRI experience.

Details

Acute care hospital MRI unit
Uses Siemens Altea MRI equipment and Cerner EMR, with a transition to Epic planned
8-hour day shifts, primarily 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with one shift per pay period from 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Alternating weekly schedule:
Monday–Friday one week, Monday–Thursday the following week
No weekend or holiday requirements
No on-call or standby requirement
No floating to other departments required
Requirements

Minimum 1 year of MRI experience preferred
ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
BLS certification required
IV insertion skills preferred but not required
License required if applicable — must be active and non-pending at time of consideration
Active certifications required; pending certifications are not accepted
2 professional references required for consideration: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
Additional Information

Orientation is completed on the first day of assignment
The facility is a drug-free campus; a negative drug screen is required
No radius rule applies; however, candidates with a permanent address within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
No COVID vaccination requirement

American Traveler Job ID #P Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined
